Abstract

The high tar content in gas is a major factor affecting the normal running of whole gasification system.On the base of the mechanics of tar producing and pyrolyzing,this paper put forward twostage gasifier,and probed into the influence of factors such as temperature distribution and specific gasification rate on tar content of gas experiment.The experimental results indicate that twostage gasification can greatly increase the highest temperature and that of reduction zone.The tar content is only 1/10 of that of one stage gasification.So twostage gasification can obviously improve the performance of the gasifier.
