Abstract

Factors affecting the sound field in an anechoic chamber are discussed,and criterions of the sound field in the anechoic chamber are proposed.Some opinions on the calculation of the sound field are presented,and the computer-aided acoustic design tool ODEON is used to compute the sound field in the anechoic chamber in Nanjing University.The calculated results agree with the theoretical and experimental results.A different view against the one that the low cutoff frequency is meaningless is set forth.
