Highway Alignment Design and Traffic Safety

Alignment is a kind of three-dimensional shape which is made up by the three different elements in plane,longitudinal,transverse section,actually is a group of space curve.Therefore three directions should be considered in the designing of alignment.Normally,only the plane and vertical directions are considered based on two-dimensional graphics in the design of combination of alignment.In this paper,it is proposed that through improving the rationality and security of alignment design by using the stereo image from the point of view of the driver,the coordinated development of reasonable demands of driving,comfort of driving and ride,economy of transport,national policy and other factors can be realized ultimately.
