Abstract
Chinese traditional philosophy of life is focused on being alive, the core of Confucianism, Taoism and Buddhism, which results in an ignorance, even suppression of the process of living. Modern people, however, value much more individuality than the existence of life, and consequently are confronted with a series of dilemmas and social problems. A combined attitudes can help modern people to gain a high quality of life.
