Abstract
Laser propulsion is a novel and special propulsion method, and advanced propulsion research and technique require launch and space flight technologies. Laser propulsion is produced by the absorption of remote laser energy, has several distinct advantages over existing forms of propulsion. Laser propulsion involves various research. Some design ideas of laser propulsion, especially the key technique of laser propulsion--laser-supported detonation are merely discussed in this paper.
