Abstract
Objective To evaluate the method of embolization aneurysms with guglielmi detachable (GDC).Methods 17 patients with 18 intracranial aneurysms were treated with GDC.15 patients presented SAH Hunt and Hess grade Ⅰ~Ⅱ: 10 patients;Ⅲ:3 patients;Ⅳ:2 patients. Results One death,3 patients suffered transient paralysis after embolization; but recovered after medical treatmemt,13 patients had excellent clinical outcomes. Conclusions Endovascalar treatment of intracranial aneurysms with GDC is an effective alternative but requires a long-term follow-up.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
