Abstract

Pasteurella multocida is a kind of pathogen, which can cause a lot of livestock and poultry pasteurellosis, mainly infectious hemorrhagic septicemia or pneumonia, the disease can transmit between animal, people also can be infected after being bitten.Pasteurella multocida vaccine is the key method to prevention and treatment of livestock and poultry pasteurellosis. At present, the vaccines preventing pasteurellosis include virulent inactivate strain, attenuated strain and subunit vaccine, these vaccines work well on pasteurellosis to some extent, however, due to different serotypes of pasteurella multocida, the immunization effect is not well,so further studies are needed on this problem. This article discussed virulence factors and immunogen of pasteurellosis.
