Application of Native Plants in Urban Landscaping

During the development of urban landscaping or gardening in China,the application of lots of emigrated plants resulted in that the efficiency of native or indigenous plants dropt and the cities’ circumstance was deteriorated with below phenomena: plant diversity decrease,plant source degeneration,diseases,insects and weeds severity,high landscaping cost,low landscaping quality,etc.In this article,it was summarized about the application and problems of native plants application in urban landscaping or gardening,and the reasonable strategies were brought forward for native plants development,higher applying efficiency and continuous urban landscaping acceleration of our county.
