Abstract
Resin-in-pulp(RIP) method is one of the hot research topics in extraction and separation of precious metals from solutions, and the preparation of chelating resins with high adsorption capacity and high selectivity is the key to this technique. The classification of chelating resins, the relationship between structure and property of chelating resin, and the chelating mechanism of chelating resin and precious metal ions were discussed, the synthesis and adsorption property of chelating resins in recent 10 years was reviewed, and the trend of chelating resins was forecasted.
