Abstract
Using immature zygotic embryos of Citrus as explants, primary somatic embryogenesis in vitro was directly induced with high frequency, and plantlets were regenerated.A preliminary regeneration system was established in this study. The results showed that the induction frequency of directly induced somatic embryos is highest when immature zygotic embryos are cultured on MS medium supplemented with 1mg/LIAA and 20mg/LBA.
