Chromaticity characteristics of fluorescent dyes

Abstract
Chromaticity characteristics of three fluorescent whitening agent and two fluorescent dyes were studied in terms of CIE1931chromaticity diagram. The dominant wavelength, color purity and chromaticity coordinates of the samples were calculated and chromaticity diagrams were drawn to provide countermeasures with which the perceptual color attributes such as hue and saturation were correlated. The chromaticity characteristics between fluorescent and non-fluorescent dyes were compared.
