Abstract

Two methods, two ambiguity functions based on second-order and fourth-order statistics, are used to estimate FDOA(frequency-delay of arrival) and TDOA(time-delay of arrival) accurately in engineering and theory computation. While the results is completely different,of which some analysis is illuminated in details and the possibility is reasoned. The simulation results are explained after two sides analyzing at last.
