Abstract

The oxidation of common sulfide minerals exposed naturally,or more often by mining activities, often is responsible for the secondary geochemical anomalies and produces serious environmental problems During the oxidation of sulfide minerals such as pyrite, galena, sphalerite, and arsenopyrite, the harmful elements such as S, Pb, Cd, and As could be effectively released into the environment(air water soils plants animal)and risk human healthy
