Abstract
Based on investigation in lower reaches of Tarim River the author found some rules as the follows: The population density of Populus Euphratica and the plant distance increase with the distance to the Tarim River increasing. The conclusion could provide evidence for ecology management and emergency output water in the lower reaches of Tarim River through analyzing the maximal Populus Euphratica living scope that the underground water could support and the doughtiest level that the Populus Euphratica could survive.
