Abstract

AIM:To elucidate the subclass opioid receptors involved in the pathogenesis of traumatic hemorrhagic shock.METHODS:The relationship between the changes of myocardial μ,δ and κ opioid receptors and cardiovascular functions such as hemodynamic parameters were observed.The effects of δ and κ opioid receptor antagonists on cardiovascular functions were determined.RESULTS:After shock the number of myocardial δ and κ opioid receptors significantly increased,it was significantly associated with the decreased hemodynamic parameters.δ and κ opioid receptor antagonists could significantly reverse those decreased hemodynamic parameters of traumatic hemorrhagic shock rats.CONCLUSION:Myocardial opioid receptors,especially δ and κ opioid receptors are closely related to the pathogenesis of traumatic hemorrhagic shock.
