Abstract

Objective To analyze the color Doppler ultrasound performance of superficial soft tissue mass and explore its diagnosis value of high frequency ultrasound. Methods 87 patients with superficial soft tissue mass who were definitely diagnosed through pathological examination were checked by color Doppler ultrasound, the sonographic findings of different types of superficial soft tissue mass observed, with analysis of the diagnosis coincidence rate of high frequency ultrasound on different types of the mass,to compare the color Doppler flow imaging( CDFI) blood flow grade of benign and malignant tumors. Results Of the 87 cases,80 patients with superficial soft tissue mass were correctly diagnosed by ultrasound, with 91. 95% diagnosis coincidence rate. Among 7 misdiagnosed cases,3 with lipoma were misdiagnosed as fibroma,3 with schwannoma as malignant tumor,1 with simple lymph node phlogistic sex swollen as lymph node metastases,1 with hemangioma as fibroma. CDFI blood flow grade of benign superficial soft tissue mass was significantly lower than that of malignant mass, and the difference was statistically significant( P 0. 05). Conclusion The diagnosis coincidence rate of high frequency ultrasound on superficial soft tissue mass is high with diagnosis of the size, boundary, shape, etc. of the mass, which helps differential diagnosis of benign and malignant superficial soft tissue mass.
