Abstract

Objiective To study the therapeutic effect of percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI) on revascularization in the patients with coronary artery disease. Methods From June to March in 2007,a total of 78 patients with coronary artery disease were angiographed after one year of PCI.The rates of angina recurrence, angiographic restenosis and major adverse cardiac events(MACE) were respectively analyzed. Results Among the 78 patients, complete revascularization rate was 100%.There was no death during hospital and follow up.All patients were angiographed in 12 months after PCI.The rates of angiographic restenosis were 7.7% in 78 patients and 10.6% in 196 target lesion vessel. The post PCI rates of angina recurrence, left ventricular ejection fraction and NYHA were significantly improved. Conclusion The PCI revascularization is an effective treatment in the patients with coronary artery disease. The restenosis after PCI may be lower under medicine treatment, and the cardiac function and angina will be improved.
