An analysis on the Effects of Comprehensive Nursing Intervention on the Quality of Life in Patients with Chronic Heart Failure

Abstract
Objective Study on the effects of Comprehensive Nursing Intervention on the quality of life in patients with chronic heart failure(CHF).Method The study subjects were 86 patients with CHF diagnosed and treated in the hospital during June 2008 and December 2009,43 patients were in Control Group(Traditional Nursing Intervention) and 43 in Trial Group(Comprehensive Nursing Intervention).Using 'Minnesota Living with Heart Failure' Quality of Life Questionaire(LiFHe),based on the evaluation of patients' quality of life after six months,to analyze the effect of Comprehensive Nursing Intervention comparing to those with Traditional Nursing Intervention.Result The overall score of LiFHe on both group are lower after six month intervention as comparison to the score before the intervention,and with statistic significance(P0.05);After intervention,the overall score in trial group are lower than control group and with statistic significance(P0.05).Conclusion The Comprehensive Nursing Intervention promotes better quality of life in patients with CHF as comparison to the Traditional Nursing Intervention.
