Analysis on Affecting Factors of Water Resources Carrying Capacity of the Yellow River Basin

The Yellow River run out of water several times, short of water resources, water seriously polluted, water resources system damaged and carrying capacity continuously decrease due to the influence of both natural conditions and human activities since 1990’s. Such situation had severely affected the social and economic development, improvement of ecological environment and increasing of the people’s living standard of the middle and lower reaches area of the Yellow River. Through the analysis on the influence to the water resources, the factors of management, engineering works, technology, social-economy, dissemination and education have important and practical significance for the increasing the carrying capacity of water resources of the river and ensuring social economic sustainable development of the Yellow River basin except the natural factor.
