Effect of the Plant Growth Regulator b6s on Rice Physiologic Character

Abstract

[Objective] The role of new type of plant growth regulator b6s in rice physiology was experimented. [Method] The rice seeds were soaked with b6s with different concentration(Ck(0) ,0.3×10-4,0.9×10-4,2.7×10-4,8.1×10-4,24.3×10-4,72.9×10-4,218.7×10-4 and 656.1×10-4g/L) and the experimental materials were placed in the incubator for moisture-keeping after soaked. The effect of the treatments on rice would be analyzed through the test of relevant physiological index in the seedling stage. [Results] The experimental results showed that the efficiency of b6s affecting the rice growth was various with the variation of its concentration. And the treatment of the concentration of 2.7 × 10-4 g/L of b6s could improve the rice germination rate,chlorophyll content,root activity,catalase activity and also significantly reduce the relative electrical conductivity of leaf. [Conclusion]The exogenous plant growth regulator b6s as one kind of seed-soaking agent was with good prospect in development and utilization. And the reasonable concentration could improve the photosynthetic capacity of leaf and the resistance of the plant.
