Abstract
Wujing 15,a rice variety, was tested by applying different nitrogen amounts and methods to study the effects on yield and nitrogen utilization rate of machine-transplanted rice. The results showed that the highest yield could be obtained under 270 to 330 kg/hm2 nitrogen application amount when the ratio of basal fertilization to head sprouting fertilization was 5∶5 or 6∶4,the nitrogen utilization rate decreased with the increase of applying nitrogen amount and the higher nitrogen utilization rate was obtained under 300 kg/hm2 nitrogen application amount when the ratio of basal fertilization to head sprouting fertilization was 5∶5.
