Differences in hormone content between cytoplasmic male sterile lines and maintainer lines in sugarbeet

Abstract
Hormone content of leaves in three cytoplasmic male sterile lines and their maintainer lines in sugarbeet were studied during their vegetation season. The results showed that zeatin content of leaves in sterile lines were higher than those in maintainer lines, while IAA content were on the contrary. And the ratio of Z/IAA and GA3/IAA of leaves in sterile lines were higher than those in maintainer lines.
