Abstract
Based on the meteorological data of 48 weather stations from 1951 to 2005 in the eastern Inner Mongolia, the changes and spatial distribution characteristics of air temperature, precipitation, wind speed and sunshine duration were analyzed by trend analysis method. The results show that air temperature in the eastern Inner Mongolia increases during recent 50 years, and the increase of extreme minimum temperature is higher than that of extreme maximum temperature.Precipitation increases obviously in the eastern Hulunbeier and the southwestern Chifeng, while it decreases obviously in Tongliao. The mean wind speed decreases except Tongliao. The changes of sunshine duration and precipitation are contrary.
