Abstract

Objective To explore the efficacy of percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI) in patients with coronary heart disease complicated left ventricular dysfunction. Methods Totally 61 coronary heart disease patients with left ventricular dysfunction treated by PCI were studied.Fifty-five patients with the similar condition served as control were treated by drugs, and both groups were reevaluated echocardiographically before and six months after receiving treatment. Results Left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF) and E/A were significantly improved(P0.05);left ventricular diastolic late dimension(LVDD) and left ventricular systolic late dimension(LVDS) were decreased in the patients received PCI.After six months treatment, the heart function in the left ventricular dysfunction patients with coronary heart disease by PCI was significantly improved than in those patients received drug treatment(P0.05).Conclusion The left ventricular function in patients with coronary heart disease is significantly improved by PCI.
