Abstract
Water-retaining works of Changheba Hydropower maximum probable flood reaches 10,000 m3/s with great flood discharge power. It is not possible to discharge flood through the dam body.According to common practice, for a core wall type rockfill dam, bank side spillway or spillway tunnel shall be arranged for flood releasing.Based on Changheba dam site topographic and geologic conditions, the schemes of whole spillway tunnel and spillway tunnel in combination with open spillway have been compared technically and economically for a long time. The whole spillway tunnel scheme is finally sugested.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
