Abstract
The protective SiO_2-based ceramic coating was prepared on stainless steel by slurry method. The corrosion resistance of the obtained ceramic coating was studied by the measurement of immersion method, salt spray corrosion test method and anodic polarization curve method. The results indicate that ceramic coating can greatly improve the corrosion resistance of matrix in various corrosive media.
