Abstract

Tea poem creation sprang up in the prosperous period of the Tang Dynasty, which witnessed the peak of the Chinese poetry, playing a very important role in the history of Chinese tea poem creation. The poets of tea poems during the prosperous period of the Tang Dynasty established the basic styles of tea poems in the later ages. Namely, a desired state or order: indifference to fame, quest for simplicity, harmony, tranquility and naturerespecting. The unique innovation of the prosperous Tang Dynasty significantly guides the later poets in their writing poems on tea.
