Abstract

The main characteristic of agricultural development in China in the new period is the speeding up of the transformation of traditional agriculture to modern agriculture. In agricultural modernization drive, we must break through the mentality of talking about agriculture within the field of agriculture, set up strategic conception of innovation, carry out the guiding principle of planning urban and rural economic and social development as a whole, promote industrialization agriculture, and propel the modernization of agriculture.
