Abstract
OBJECTIVE To study on the chemical constituents from Argyreia acuta Lour. METHODS The compounds were isolated by column chromatography and identified by spectroscopic methods,respectively. RESULTS Five compounds were isolated and identified as β- sitosterol( Ⅰ),lupeol( Ⅱ),stigmast- 4- en- 3- one( Ⅲ),daucosterol( Ⅳ),3,5- Dihydroxy- 4',7- dimethoxyflavone( Ⅴ). CONCLUSION Compounds Ⅱ、Ⅲ、Ⅴ are isolated from the plant for the first time.
