Abstract

The effect of the high styrene resin(HSR)/NBR blending ratio on the properties of HSR/NBR blend was investigated. The results showed that,as the HSR/NBR blending ratio increased, the Shore A hardness, tear strength and compression set of HSR/NBR blend increased, the tensile strength increased at first and then decreased, and the elongation at break and oil resistance decreased;the HSR/NBR blend possessed better stiffness, when compared to the NBR compound.
