Abstract

Through such methods as using the exhaustive statistics and the generalized description,this paper is intended to study and discuss the causes and the process of the formation of Guo and its grammatical functions.It can be seen that the tense auxiliary Guo falls into two categories:one is used in perfect tense and the other is used in past tense.
