Abstract

Rotor blades of blower were fractured during the operation. By the fracture morphology analysis on one of the cracked blades, the results show that the blade fracture crack is fatigue crack, and the initial crack appears at the deep machining mark on the blade surface, then the crack expands under the effect of high cycle stress, and finally make the blade fatigue fracture.
