Abstract
Based on the forest ecosystem formed by natural forest vegetation and plantation vegetation distributed in large scale in Daqing Mountains, stands biomass and forest community structure have been investigated for Betula platyphylla secondary forest,Larix principis-rupprechtii plantation,Pinus tabulaeformis plantation and Ostryopsis davidiana shrubs. The total amount of aboveground carbon storage is estimated to 305.25 t/hm2 for the main four kinds of forest plant types in Daqing Mountains, which can provide basis for evaluating the forest ecological function.
