Abstract
Mao Zedong have attached great importance to the exploration and application of the law of unity of opposites and great achievements have been made. But on the point of how to think about the internal contradiction within people and its relation to class struggle during the period of socialist construction, and how to globally grasp the contradictory dialectics in terms of the new practice, Mao Zedong's reflection and practice left much to be reviewed and reexamined. The experiences and lessons have provided us important historical message to understand the dialectical 'rational modality' promoted by Marx.
