On the Restriction of Antitrust Law to Professional Sports Leagues and Its Reference to China

Abstract

Antitrust Law is an important law for restricting the operation of professional sports leagues.Through analysis of the main aspects of the operation of professional sports leagues,the chief cases of Antitrust Law about professional sports leagues are discussed and we clarify the restriction of Antitrust Law to the league recruitment as well as club move and organizing of professional sports leagues.The administration monopoly and club conspiracy will be restricted by Antitrust Law as China constituting the law on the background of promotion of antitrust law in China.
