Abstract

[Objective]To explore the significance of detecting influenza viruses A and B by fluorescent real-time reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction.[Methods]A total of 26 oral swab samples which were suspected of carrying influenza virus A and B were detected by fluorescent real-time RT-PCR and eggs assay.[Results]Out of 26 samples,detectable rate of fluorescent real-time RT-PCR was 15(57.7%) ,and detectable rate of eggs culture was 7(26.9%) .There was significant difference between them.[Conclusion]The fluorescent real-time PCR possess features of fast,reliable,higher sensitivity and higher specificity for detecting influenza viruses,which could be used as a rapid diagnostic method for detection of influenza viruses.
