Abstract
This paper makes a retrospect of backgrounds in India's capital account liberalization.The study focuses on the detailed measures taken by Indian government and benefits the country achieved during the last decade of 20th century.We also discuss the logic relationship between banking reform,foreign exchange regime and capital account liberalization.Finally,some lessons are drawn from Indian experience to give China certain enlightenment.
