Abstract
To determine the optimum delay time of detonation of warhead,a model which took exponential attenuation of fragments velocity into account,was proposed through establishing coordinate system skillfully.When the target and the warhead were in the same plane,the relationship between the optimum delay time of detonation and the crossing angle was obtained.At the same time,the effective area of warhead was gained when the lethality radius of warhead was 9 m.The results show that,with the increase of crossing angle,the optimum delay time of detonation will reach the maximum value.The effective area of warhead will approach the lethality radius of it.
