A Statistic Analysis of Magnitude Differences in Digital Telemetric Seismic Network of Shaanxi Province

Abstract

Statistical work on the magnitudes of earthquakes between velocity magnitudes and displacement magnitudes obtained by simulation, using the data from the same observation system , is made. The differences between them are found and compared. The result shows that the average difference between velocity magnitudes and displacement magnitudes is 0.2 for earthquakes in the range of the province, recorded by the Digital Telemetric Seismic Network of Shaanxi Province.
