Abstract
A method for computing ratio of pile stress to soil stress of a rigid pile composite foundation with cushion, is studied; and the conditions that the top of pile piercing into cushion and the bottom of pile piercing into underlayer, are considered. It is assumed that cushion is ideal elastic body and ideal elastoplastic body, then the formula is analyzed; and all parameters?effects on the ratio of pile stress to soil stress are discussed.
