Abstract
Variations of total sugar, reduced sugar, sucrose and starch content in leaves on spur of bearing fruit, spur without fruit, clustered spur and developmental shoot of 'Starkrimsom' apple tree were studied in this experiment. The results indicated: various carbohydrate contents in leaves declined gradually along with rapid growth of leaves, then increased gradually with developmental and mature of leaves, while declined gradually with senescence of leaves. There are some differences of carbohydrate content of leaves among different branches.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
