Abstract
Cold rolled C-Mn and C-Mn-Cr dual-phase steels were designed,The dependence of mechanical proper-ties of the steels on their dual-phase structure with different volume ratios of ferrite to martensite was investigated after being heat treated at the temperatures in two-phase region. The results show that C-Mn-Cr steel heated at 770 ℃ for 5 min, slowly cooled at 10 ℃/min to 690 ℃ and then water cooled will be composed of the ferrite with mean grain size of 6.8 μm and about 31vol% martensite, and will reach such good mechanical properties as tensile strength of 825 MPa,yield strength of 451 MPa and elongation percentage of 15.4%.
