Control analysis preventing from surge in booster station of gas turbine

Abstract

The control system preventing centrifugal compressor equipped in large-scale gas turbine from surge was discussed in the paper. The control logic preventing the compressor from surge was analyzed and improved after the performance curve of compressor in gas turbine booster station was analyzed. The compressor in booster station operates well and the surge has not appeared after improved.
