Abstract
Based on analysis of the tectonic feature of the Qiaodong oilfield, the process of Cenozoic structural evolution has been restored with balanced cross section technique, thus made clear the control action of structural evolution on hydrocarbon accumulation in this oilfield. The Qiaodong oilfield lies on a complex faulted structure composed of 5 main faults of NW strike and a series of secondary faults. The 5 main faults show characteristics of gradual moving from north to south, had controlled the structure and strata development in this area,as well as the formation of the Qingnan hydrocarbon generation sag,reservoir-seal assemblage, traps, and hydrocarbon migration and accumulation.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
