Abstract

Biocompatible and biodegradable scaffold is one of the keys in tissue engineering. The scaffolds are usually with complex external shapes and interconnected internal pores. This paper reviews recent advances in fabrication methodology and technology of threedimensional porous scaffolds on two levels, poreforming and scaffoldshaping, according to the inherent influences of fabrication on pore structure and shape of scaffolds. 
