Abstract
The coal-tar is the liquid product made from the coal in the process of dry distillation and gasification.Due to the coal fines, coke powder and pyrolytic carbon in the coal-tar,it is of disadvantage to prepare gasoline and diesel oil with catalytic hydrogenation before the coal tar is processed, and it is necessary to control its solid mass fraction.Taking the coal tar from a chemical plant of Shaanxi as raw material, the method of the filtration separation was adopted in order to eliminate the solid mass fraction in the coal tar.The results show that the solid mass fraction in the coal tar is greatly reduced by the filtration separation. The effect of the filtration separation reaches 90% above. The coal tar filtrated can meet the requirement for making the gasoline and the diesel oil via catalytic hydrogenation.
