Abstract
The meaning and purpose of decommissioning of nuclear facilities and radioactive waste management are discussed.The positive progresses made in the implementation of the decommissioning of nuclear facilities and radioactive waste management in the past 20years and the problems faced currently are reviewed,and the corresponding countermeasures are put forward.
