Abstract

Seasonal variation in the content of nutrient elements in the leaf of ginkgo tree were studied. The results showed that the content of N, P, K, Mn, Cu in the leaf of shoot dropped with the age of the leaf, whereas that of Ca, Mg, increased with the advance of the leaves. The content of Fe in the leaf dropped with the development of the young leaf, but after May it came to increase gradually. So, according to the results the suitable sampling period for leaf analysed and the harvest period of ginkgo leaf could be determined preliminarily.
