Abstract
Voltage and reactive power control is an important research subject for power grid planning and system operation. With the detailed analysis on centralized control mode and distributed control mode, and according to the operation needs of regional power grid, it is proposed that transformers and capacitors participate in reactive power optimization in different stages and the voltage and network losses be optimized in different grades. Improving measures are also presented in accordance with the characteristics of the nine-region chart of substation voltage and reactive power control as well as the difference between three-winding transformers and two-winding transformers.
