Abstract
As the most important passage for liquid to enter the separator,the entrance of solid-liquid separation hydrocyclone is used to form steady field quickly in the vortex chamber.The structure of the entrance decides the separation and using performance of solid-liquid separation hydrocyclone in the very great degree.Based on the flow pattern of the gypsum hydro-cyclone's entrance areas,Archimedean helix entrance structure which is in a certain pitch was designed.The contrast experiment showed that compared with straight cut type entrance structure,the processing capacity and separation efficiency of Archimedean helix entrance structure improved 6.87% and 2.84%.
